PainPal exists because endometriosis is invisible and dismissable — and one of the most powerful things a person can walk into an appointment with is their own timeline of what happened, when.
The app is small and calm on purpose. No streaks, no shaming, no marketing dressed up as motivation. Log what you can, when you can, and let PainPal help you find the threads.
- Is PainPal a medical device?
- No. PainPal is a personal tracking and support tool. It does not diagnose, treat, or replace care from a licensed clinician. It can help you notice patterns and prepare for appointments.
- Is PainPal iOS-only?
- Yes. PainPal is built as a native iOS app so quick logging feels calm and instant on hard days. There is no web app to sign into.
- Do I have to subscribe?
- No. Symptom logging, cycle tracking, food/trigger logs, and the timeline view are free forever. Pro is optional and adds the AI companion and doctor-ready summaries.
- Where does my data live?
- Your log syncs to PainPal's servers so it survives phone changes and can power the companion. It is never sold and never shared with advertisers.
- Can I export or delete my data?
- Yes. Every account can export a full copy or delete their account and data from Settings.
- How does the AI companion work?
- The companion reads your own log — symptoms, cycle, food, sleep, notes — and answers questions grounded in that data. It never claims a diagnosis and always defers medical questions to your care team.
- Is this only for people with a diagnosis?
- No. PainPal is useful whether you have a confirmed diagnosis, are on the path to one, or are simply trying to understand your symptoms.
- How do I get support?
- Head to Support for contact details and troubleshooting.
